Food, Drink & Nightlife (Cosways & Waldegraves)

Cosways has its own entertainments programme throughout the season with acts to suit all tastes.
Guests can also take advantage of the extensive entertainments programme which runs at Waldegraves
throughout the year. For full entertainment information in both locations please go to ‘Whats On’.  The
Granary Restaurant and the Barn and Wheatsheaf are also available for Cosways guests to enjoy.

Park shop

Cosways on Park shop is well stocked and includes a bakery, off licence sales and souvenirs to remind you of your holiday.

The Granary Bar & Restaurant (Waldegraves)

The Granary offers a superb selection of Hot and Cold meals taking advantage of  the masses of quality
fresh produce local to Mersea Island. Eat in the superb comfort of the Restaurant or on the decking
overlooking the Swimming Pool.

The Granary has a fully licensed bar with a great selection of draught & bottled beers, soft drinks for
adults & children & fine wines from around the world.

The menu selections include Handmade Pies, Wick Farm Steaks, superb fresh Fish & Chips,  Aberdeen
Angus Burgers and a Vegetarian selection.

Children are well looked after with their own menu plus a selection from the main menu in smaller
portions.

Fresh Homemade Daily Specials and a range of special offers to take advantage of The Granary is a must
for all visitors to Waldegraves.

Monday is Curry Night, a selection of Homemade Curries @ £6.95 including a drink (Fosters, 175ml Wine
or 16oz Soft Drink),
Wednesday is Midweek Roast Day, Selection of meats and vegetables in a giant yorkshire pudding for
just £5, and our Homecooked Traditional Sunday Roasts for just £8.95 for adults and £4.95 for children (
3 choices of meat, booking advisable) is renowned both locally & with Waldegraves residents.

The Wheatgrain & Caravan Accessories Shop (Waldegraves)

Priding itself particularly on fresh produce, the Wheatgrain Shop bakes its own fresh bread every morning
- just in time for breakfast! Stocks of other local produce are also available together with a large range of foodstuffs, childrens play toys and souvenir gifts. A wide selection of fishing tackle for both freshwater and sea fishing along with camping accessories and bottled gas are also stocked.

The Barn & Wheatsheaf (Waldegraves)

The Barn & Wheatsheaf are open every day during peak season for all to enjoy. Open until late, The Barn
is friendly and relaxing, the perfect place to enjoy a quiet drink inside or out in the courtyard. The Wheatsheaf offers family entertainment in the evenings, (see entertainments programe for details.)

The Wheatsheaf has pool tables for the over 18's only and a seating area overlooking The Barn. At the
side of The Wheatsheaf there is a family games room with a pool table, air hockey and much, much
more...

Please note that the Barn & The Wheatsheaf are only open for limited periods during quieter times. Entertainment for Young & Old.
